Easter Blossoms – Sneak Peek!

All this talk of valentines and spring and Christmas is not even here yet!  But I was tired of the dark though rich colors I was using on my cards and I was ready for some light airy colors!  So today's card speaks "Springtime"!

The stamp set Easter Blossoms is from the latest Occasions Mini Catalog which should land on your doorstep sometime within the next week.  The new Occasions Mini Catalog offers products for every crafter, every taste, every occasion.

I wish I could show you the images from the Easter Blossoms Stamp Set because they are beautiful.  The blossoms image was stamped with Jet Black Stazon on Very Vanilla  Card Stock; the stamped image was then colored in using Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake and Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Write Markers. 

It was then layered on Baja Breeze Card Stock.   The next layer is from the Springtime Vintage  Designer Series Paper.  This paper is absolutely gorgeous and brings to mind 1930's vintage springtime gardens and parlors.  The paper coordinates with the Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Rose Red, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake, River Rock, Very Vanilla and Always Artichoke Card Stock.

All that was layered on the Baja Breeze Card Stock (base card).  The base card was embossed using the new Framed Tulips Textured Impresisons Embossing Folder.  Isn't it gorgeous?  In fact, you may get tired of me saying absolutely gorgeous or absolutely beautiful but I'm in love with all the items from the new Occasions Mini Catalog.

 
I used the same embossing folder for the inside of the card.  The stamped image is from Curly Cute, Page 149 of the 2010/2011 Idea Book and Catalog.
