What lovely blog candy, Rachel! My husband is currently deployed, so my children and I had a nice dinner with our neighbor and her two children as her husband works nights. Even though my hubby wasn’t home, my kids made it special!

My husband, my step daughter and I went and rented movies and went through McDonalds. My daughter went to the mall with a friend. My husband and I did go out to dinner and movie the Saturday before. I love looking at your blog, even if I don’t post a comment. keep up the great job!

On Valentines, my youngest daughter with 3 small children asked me to go help her place so she could have a nice dinner for her husband when he got home. As we were cleaning I told her why don’t you two go out since I was there I could babysit for them. They made plans to go out and to my surprise invited me to go with them and the children. Had such a nice Valentines.

Nothing exciting for my Valentine’s day. We had a homecooked meal with a delicious dessert then shopped for new tires for my vehicle. Not your usual gesture of love but it’s there if you look for it! Thanks for the chance at some great blog candy.

On Valentine’s Day, I presented my husband with 4 things….a petal cone Chinese box fullof his favorite candy…mini peanut butter cups, a Matchbox dresser with 3 drawers full of mini conversation hearts, a scalloped envelope box full of large conversation hearts, and a petal cone card!! He was SO surprised and loved ALL of my little creations for him! My original plan was to surprise him at work, but he had to go to several places that day (since he is a manager) so I couldn’t. BUT he did take everything into work the next day because he wanted to show it all off!! He gave me roses and some other little gifts. This coming Sunday we were able to get a babysitter, so we are going to go to dinner at a fondue restaurant!! :O) I would love to win this blog candy!! My mother in law and I recently (just last year) became a lot closer since I have lost most of my family now, and I would LOVE to make her something special with this gorgeous set!! Thanks for the chance to win!!

    Hi Rachel,

We made filet mignon steaks w/a red wine sauce, roast potatoes, and french green beans.

    I hope you had a lovely Valentine’s Day/Anniversary.

    Hi, Rachel –

Thanks for the chance to win some candy! The nasty flu bug is going around here – my dh has bronchitis so we ate at home. He did go out to get flowers and a card for me and of course, he got a home made card from me!

    Love your blog!

Tom and I went out for a lunch date while the kids where in school. We had Sushi by the harbor. After the kids got out of school Tom’s grandma made us all a yummy t-bone steak dinner. Such a great time we all had
