Thanks a Million

Hi Stampers

Opener
Hope you had a wonderful weekend.  We had our grandchildren overnight so it was a great weekend for us.  We value all the time we spend with them because they grow up so fast!

Magazine-pix

We all get our inspiration from so many things and as I was skimming through a magazine called At home in Arkansas, I found this page.  I loved it at first sight and a "light bulb" went off in my head for a card or rather two cards.

Thanksamillion copy
I made two versions of this card.  I used the My Digital Studio (did I tell you how much I love this program?!!) to add the images and then print it out on Very Vanilla Card Stock.  The images were taken from the Elements of Style, Nature, Extreme Elements and Timeless Stamp Brush Sets – Digital Downloads. The first one is darker like the magazine page above and then this one which was lighten to 40% opacity.  Both versions use Early Espresso.  I'll have the 2nd one up in a couple of days.

The top layer was embossed with the Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and then spritzed with the Color Spritzer Tool using the Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Marker.

The sentiment is from the Word Play Stamp Brush Set – Digital Download.  The punched used was the Decorative Label Punch.

Thanks for stopping by today!

~~Rachel
