First time I’ve stamped since I got sick and it was very exhausting! I guess I don’t have all my strength back yet. I wanted to keep this card quick and simple. It started out to be a one layer card but I thought it looked too plain. Adding the Cherry Cobbler as the base card gives the card a little pop.
To create the one strip of the I Love Lace Background Stamp, I tore a piece of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 in half (tear on the long side). Using temporary adhesive, I placed the two torn strips down on the Ivory Naturals Card Stock leaving about a 1 inch gap. I then inked up the stamp set using the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Ink and stamped it over the two strips. I removed the two strips and was left with the torn look.
I used the retired Scallop Heart of Hearts Embosslits Die for the large heart. The middle heart was made using the smallest heart in the Hearts Collection Framelits. The smallest heart was 1st embossed with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder and then punched out using the heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accent Pack. The smallest heart (next to the sentiment) is from the In-color Sequin Assortment.
