Ears to You

By | March 13, 2013

Hi Stampin' Friends

Todays' card features the whimsical cute Ears to You Single Stamp.  When I picked these colors, I was thinking Easter but after looking at it it could also be a welcome baby card!

AEars-to-You-Mar-2013I stamped the images in Pink Pirouette on Whisper White Card Stock.  I then selected one of the three bunnies to cut out with my Paper Snips.  I did this two more times in Baja Breeze and So Saffron.  Yes, I used more card stock then I would have had I colored in the images with Stampin' Write Markers and then stamped on Whisper White Card Stock.  But it was easier and quicker to stamp it 3 times in the 3 different colors.  I don't remember where I found the cute little cutton balls but I've had them for a long, long time but if you didn't have cotton balls, large pearls would work just as well.

The Whisper White Circle inside the Delicate Doilies Baja Breeze Card Stock was die cut using the retired Circles #2 Sizzix die.

The background paper is from the Subltes Collection Patterns Paper Stack.  Because I wanted the sentiment to fit in the Bitty Banners Framelits, I generated it in My Digital Studio and then printed it out on Whisper White Card Stock.  The one that comes with the stamp is much too large.

Very cute! I didn’t really look at the possibilities when I saw this stamp. Thank you for sharing its versatility 🙂

Cute card. I’ve never seen mini cotton balls. I have pulled pieces off regular cotton balls and rolled them into little balls. Your minis look much neater. Pearls are a good idea too.
