The Hello Doily Stamp Set is so much better than the real thing because you can stamp it in any color you want which what I am doing for this month's Thank You Cards. I love it's intricate doily design and reminds me of my grandmother's doilies she used to put on the headrest and armrest of the couches and chairs.
I used the 2011/2013 In-Colors for these cards. The sentiment is from good old faithful "Sincere Salutations".
After stamping the doily with Wisteria Wonder Classic Ink, to Whisper White Card Stock, I added the Wisteria Wonder 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon to the center of the card. The base card is Wisteria Wonder Card Stock.
Because the Crop-a-dil did not reach to the center of each doily, I took out my good old tool kit (retired) and made the holes the old fashion way – with a small hammer and punch (LOL)!
I made several other cards following the same steps using the 2011/2013 In-colors, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Island Indigo.
My favorite has turned out to be Wisteria Wonder - in the picture above it looks kinda of gray but in person it's a beautiful color!
