French Foliage

Hi Stampers

Opener
I've been remiss in not keeping you informed on my quest for another kitten.  Last month I held a contest and used the winner's reasoning for a new kitten but I have not been able to get an another kitten as yet.  But I'm still working on it because I really do think DeeDee needs a sibling to play with.  If I do get another kitten, you will be one of the first to know about it – I'll have that kitten's picture all over this blog!!!

French-Foliage copy In yesterday's post, I mentioned that I was working on a card using the Gently Falling stamp Set but I meant the French Foliage Stamp set.  I had forgotten how beautiful this set is and was very happy with the way the card turned out.

Fall Foilage Love the french script, life like leaves, post mark accents and especially the ink splattered background from this set.

I used the rock and roll technique on the leaves combined Cajun Craze with Old Olive on the edges.  The button is from the Rich Regal Designer Buttons Collection.

The sentiment is from the Hand-Penned Holidays Stamp Set from the Holiday Mini catalog.

Thanks for stopping by today
