Attic Bouquet

Hi Stampers

Opener
Just ten days until the retirement list comes out – always an exciting time for me because I am keeping my fingers crossed that not too many of my stamp sets retire!  I'll be posting a "guess which stamp sets will retire" contest on my blog on 10 April 2012.  So if you want to participate, check in on that date because it will only run a couple of days.

Today's card is for my daughter Deena.  It was her birthday a couple of weeks ago but I was sick with pneumonia and just didn't have the energy to make her a card.

  Happy-Birthday-Deena copy

I used the My Digital Studio to create the focal point of this card.  The sentiment was printed out in Early Espresso and the flowers from the Established Elegance Stamp Brush set were colored in using Pool Party Classic Ink Pad and Poppy Parade Classic Ink Pad and a blender pen. The leaves were colored in using the Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Write Marker.

I also used the Attic Bouquet Designer Series Paper and a non SU lace ribbon that had pearls and diamonds on it.  I am discovering all these hidden treasures as I unpack my craft room supplies from the move.  I had to use it for her card because she loves shabby chic and I knew it would perfect for her.

The ribbon is the Very Vanilla 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon and I gave it that scrunched look by using the Heat Tool.

Thanks for stopping by today
