For today's card, I decided to use the From My Heart Stamp Set again.

I love this set because it is so reminiscent of Victorian apothecary labels. This exquisitely designed eight-piece set is a must-have for those who covet that vintage look. Clever sentiments and intricate designs combine to make this a stamp set you'll want to use again and again. Have you ever worked on a card and it did not turn out as you thought it would. That's what happened with this card. I had all kinds of thoughts/ideas in my head and kept trying different embellishments.

First of all, I brayered the Natural Composition Specialy Designer Series Paper with a brayer and the Midnight Muse Classic Stampin' Pad and then wiped it with a kleenix. The paper has glossy raised floral patterns which resisted the ink.

Then I tried adding some paper roses made from the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle. Nope, that wasn't the look I was going for.

I next tried adding a scrunchy bow using the Very Vanilla 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon, our new gorgeous Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons and a Pearl. Nope, didn't like that either!

Finally settled on the Crumb Cake 1/2" Seam Binding and some crochet trim on Crumb Cake Card stock. Used the Adoring Accents Edgelits on the bottom and added the pearls for a touch of class! Voila! Loved it! What do you think?
