The Everything Eleanor Stamp Set’s delicate floral embellishments, frames, and flourishes is the perfect mix for your projects with vintage flair. The eight-piece set coordinates with the 2-1/2″ Circle Punch.
I really had fun making this card – I took my time and even redid a couple of things and I like the way it came out. The Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack really lends itself to the shabby chic, vintage look.
This is what I did to make this card:
- The base card is Soft Suede Card Stock (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ folded in half)
- The DSP (4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″) is from the retired Neutrals Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stacks. It was swiped over the Whisper White Craft Ink several times and distressed with the Distressing Tool.
- The First Edition Designer Series Paper (retired) (3″ x 4″) was also swiped with the Whisper White Craft Ink and distressed with the Distressing Tool.
- I die cut a piece of scrap Very vanilla Card Stock with the Chalk Talk Framelits and then stamped with the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set. This was also distressed.
- I added the buttons from the retired Buttons Latte Collection in five places.
- Added the Linen Thread (double bow) to the DSP layer
- Die cut a scrap of Very Vanilla Card Stock and a scrap of Vellum Card Stock using the Beautiful Wings Bigz Die.
- The Very Vanilla Butterfly was stamped with the Stipple Blossoms Stamp Set.
- The Vellum Butterfly was embossed with the Pretty Print Embossing Folder.
- The two butterflies were then adhered to the front of the card.
Please Note:
To guarantee that the buttons will not fall off, I always tie them to the card with linen thread!
