I can’t believe it’s in the 80s so late in October! It snowed our first October here, so I’m hoping this means we’ll have a milder winter. How’s the weather where you are?

I created this thank you card using a beautiful nature scene as the backdrop – it’s from the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper (DSP). The misty landscape features rolling hills, evergreen trees, and a serene, muted color palette of soft greens, grays, and blues that gives the card a peaceful, contemplative feel.
I layered delicate prairie grass silhouettes in the foreground, stamping them in Secret Sea ink to create a striking contrast against the scenic background. The graceful, arching stems add an organic, natural element that draws the eye upward through the design.
I kept the sentiment simple with a hand-lettered style “thank you” from the Something Fancy Stamp Set, positioned in the upper portion of the card. The decorative frame ties all the elements together, creating depth and dimension while keeping the focus on the tranquil nature scene and heartfelt message.
I used another image from the Prairie Grass Stamp Set on the inside of the card. I didn’t have enough DSP left to decorate the flap of the envelope, so I attached a thin strip to the front.
