Hello my Stampin’ Friends!
It was a wonderful day in spite of having to sit in the DMV for about 2 1/2 hours just to renew my driver’s license! Last time I renewed my license the wait was only 30 minutes. Our area must be growing faster than I thought! How are your lines for renewing your license? Not long, I hope!
The Darling Dinos Bundle absolutely dino-mite! I know my great-grandson (4 years) will enjoy it since he is into dinosaurs. It has a die for absolutely everything (almost) in the stamp set.

I began by lightly sponging the top portion of the front panel with Balmy Blue ink using our Blending Sponges, then sponged the bottom section with Old Olive ink. Next, I randomly stamped the grass image across the lower portion of the panel. After completing the background, I used the Deckled Rectangle Dies to cut the front panel, then layered it onto Old Olive cardstock. The card base features Old Olive cardstock topped with a layer of Basic White cardstock that I embossed using the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder.

I colored the Triceratops using Smoky Slate for the body, Old Olive for the spots, and Timid Tiger/Old Olive Stampin’ Blends for the horns. For the T-Rex, I used Balmy Blue on the body, Timid Tiger for the tummy and back spots, and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends for the scales. Once the coloring was complete, I die cut both dinosaurs using the coordinating Darling Dinos Dies.

I colored the balloons using Old Olive, Balmy Blue, and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends, while the party hat was colored with Old Olive and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends. Both elements were then die cut using their coordinating dies.

For the card interior and envelope flap, I stamped the party hat on both pieces and colored them using different combinations: Balmy Blue and Timid Tiger for the card, and Balmy Blue and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends for the envelope. I also added one of the sentiments from the stamp set to complete the design.
