I decided to leave the sentiment/greeting off today’s card until I know whom I will give it to.
With the Thankful Garden Bundle, your paper crafts will always be in bloom! Die cut the large flower stamps to give your card a bright center piece or pair some greenery with smaller die cut flowers to create an eye-catching gift tag. Use the decorative masks to add texture paste for dimension or blend soft colors for extra depth. This bundle is perfect for expressing love and gratitude in a truly artistic way.
This is a beautifully handmade greeting card featuring Petal Pink flowers as the main design. The flowers are sponged using the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks with detailed petals and Garden Green leaves surrounding them. The flowers are cut out and layered on top of the card for a dimensional effect.
The card has a lovely color scheme of Garden Green, Petal Pink, and Basic White. There’s a green grid-patterned background paper (from the Lovely Garden 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (DSP)), a Petal Pink border, and a white textured center panel that looks like it has an embossed damask pattern (from the Damask Embossing Folder.) Small green dots are scattered around the design as decorative accents, and a delicate white ribbon bow is tied at the bottom of the flower stem.
The overall design has a fresh, spring-like feeling with its soft colors and floral theme. The layered papers and dimensional flowers show careful craftsmanship, making this a thoughtful handmade card.
The left image shows the inside of the handmade card, which is clean and simple with a white background and a narrow strip of the same green grid paper (Lovely Garden DSP) along the left edge, framed by the Petal Pink border. The right image shows the envelope flap, which features a curved piece of the matching green grid paper (Lovely Garden DSP) attached to create a coordinated design element that ties the whole card set together.
