Hi my Stampin’ Friends!
This week, I found myself reaching for non-Stampin’ Up! images for all three birthday cards I created. I love personalizing my cards for each recipient, and currently Stampin’ Up! doesn’t offer the specific images I wanted to use for my family members’ birthdays.
The focal point features an elegantly stamped woman’s silhouette with flowing hair, perfectly framed within a circular die-cut border that adds dimensional interest to the design. The soft Fresh Freesia and Melon Mambo color palette creates a dreamy, feminine aesthetic that’s perfect for celebrating someone special.
The gorgeous floral arrangements positioned around the portrait appear to feature wild roses and delicate blooms. These botanical elements are beautifully colored in varying shades of Fresh Freesia and Melon Mambo, with Mossy Meadlow foliage providing the perfect contrast. The careful placement of these florals creates a natural, organic flow that complements the portrait’s elegant lines.
The card’s base showcases a subtle patterned background in soft Fresh Freesia (Lovely Garden DSP) tones, allowing the main elements to truly shine. The “Happy Birthday” sentiment (Unbounded Love Bundle) is scripted in an elegant font that perfectly matches the card’s sophisticated style.
The card’s coordinating inside panel and envelope liner showcase the beautiful versatility of Stampin’ Up!’s Envelope Dies. The left image reveals the card’s interior, featuring a delicate scalloped border along the bottom edge that perfectly frames the clean white space for a personal message. The right image shows the envelope’s coordinating envelope flap, where the same Fresh Freesia patterned paper creates a sophisticated diagonal design across the flap. Using the Envelope Dies for both elements creates a cohesive, polished look that ties the entire card set together beautifully.

- Base Card: Basic White Thick Cardstock (11″ x 4 1/4″). Fold in half with a bone folder for a sharper crease.
- Layer #1: Garden Green Cardstock (5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″)
- Layer #2: Lovely Garden 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (5 1/4″ x 4″)
- Circle: Basic White Thick Cardstock (4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″) before die cutting
