The Storybook Moments Suit Collection is to die for! I am so glad I bought it when it first became available because it’s been out of stock several times. I am using the Storybook Friends Bundle (part of the collection) for today’s card.
Come enjoy the splendor of the Storybook Moments Suite Collection! Craft a storybook scene with fuzzy bunnies, friendly squirrels, and plaid paper. Sow a garden-themed card with stamped and die-cut veggies and gardening tools. With scalloped ribbon, pearl-shaped embellishments, and other delicate details, this darling storybook suite is a must-have for scrapbooks and springtime, Easter, and friendship cards.
This delightful handcrafted greeting card features a charming die cut brown rabbit wearing a Old Olive coat and holding a small radish. The rabbit is framed within an ornate die-cut Old Olive frame, from the Storybook Friends Dies, that adds dimension and elegance to the design. The frame sits atop a light Calypso Coral and Old Olive plaid background paper, from the Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DS) creating a lovely countryside aesthetic.
The card showcases beautiful layering techniques with an embossed Basic Beige background from the (Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder) featuring a subtle leaf and circle pattern that provides texture and visual interest. A natural twine bow (from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack) is tied at the corner of the green frame, enhancing the rustic charm. At the bottom, a small banner tag reads “Hello FRIEND” in an elegant mixed font, perfectly complementing the overall design.
The color palette of Old Olive, soft Calypso Carol, Basic Beige, and Pecan Pie creates a warm, pastoral feel that evokes springtime in the countryside. The careful attention to detail is evident in the multiple layers, textured elements, and perfect placement of the die-cut components.
The same plaid pattern featured on the front of the card is thoughtfully carried through to both the inside of the card and the envelope flap, creating a cohesive and polished design throughout.
