Hello my Stampin’ Friends
Quick vide on how I made this card.
The Spotlight on Nature stamp set takes center stage in this serene handmade card, featuring delicate botanical images stamped in Crumb Cake ink. The script background adds a subtle layer of vintage elegance, while carefully placed water droplet splatters create an artistic, watercolor effect throughout the design.
The card base is crafted from Crumb Cake cardstock, layered with Very Vanilla cardstock that’s been textured using the retired Old World Paper 3D embossing folder around the edges. Three Basic Pearl, from the Antique Pearls, embellishments strategically placed around the floral image add a touch of refined elegance to the overall composition.
A simple bow created from Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack, ties the floral stem together, adding dimension and a rustic touch to this clean and elegant design.
For added depth and visual interest, the script background is first stamped off and then stamped with Crumb Cake ink, creating a soft, subtle text pattern. The heartfelt sentiment, sourced from the retired Charming Sentiments stamp set, completes this elegant design with its timeless message.
The coordinating envelope features the same botanical images stamped in Crumb Cake ink, creating a beautifully cohesive presentation perfect for sympathy, thinking of you, or any heartfelt occasion.
