Hello my Stampin’ Friends
No, that is not a misspelling with Xoey. That’s how my granddaughter wants to spell her baby’s name🤱.
This sweet baby girl card features a layered design starting with a Very Vanilla card base, topped with a floral Designer Series Paper (DSP) (non SU) in a vintage color palette of Balmy Blue, Melon Mambo, and Soft Sage. The DSP shows a delicate cottage-style floral pattern that gives the card a shabby chic feel.
The focal point consists of a Very Vanilla textured panel, created using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. This panel is decorated with uniform piercing around all edges from the Everything Dies, creating a delicate frame effect. The central image is a paper-pieced baby onesie die-cut, carefully fussy-cut from the same DSP to create perfect pattern matching with the background.
The sentiment “SWEET GIRL” was created using Tuxedo Black Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, from the SU baby-themed stamp set bundle, and is mounted with Stampin’ Dimensionals for depth. The finishing touches include subtle embellishments of clear sequins (Earth Tones Shimmer Gems) strategically placed on the textured panel, while the entire design is framed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder on the card base.
Inside of card: The sentiment “A baby daughter is always a Daddy’s girl and Mommy’s world” is computer generated with a decorative touch added by a small heart punch-out using the same floral DSP from the card front. The bottom of the panel features a coordinating strip of the floral Designer Series Paper, creating a cohesive look with the card’s exterior.
Front of Envelope: On the front of the Vanilla envelope, a single baby onesie die-cut has been placed in the lower left corner, cut from the same floral DSP used on the front.
