Good Afternoon my Stampin’ Friends
I hope you are enjoy Labor Day weekend and this gorgeous lovely day.
Today’s card showcases a stunning floral design set against a rich Blackberry Cardstock background. The focal point is a cluster of beautifully detailed flowers, resembling wild roses, accompanied by lush green leaves. The floral image and leaves were colored in using the Enduring Beauty Masks, a Blending Brush and the colors: Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow.
To add a touch of elegance, a sheer ribbon is tied across the lower portion of the card. A small circular tag bearing the sentiment “Big hugs” is attached over this ribbon, providing a heartfelt message to the recipient
The floral arrangement is layered on an embossed basic white cardstock with subtle purple tones, creating a vintage or distressed effect. This background features an embossed pattern and decorative scalloped edges, adding depth and interest to the overall design. Green die-cut leaves are strategically placed behind the main floral image, enhancing the dimensional aspect of the card.
The color scheme primarily utilizes shades of Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow, resulting in a harmonious and nature-inspired palette. This card demonstrates various papercrafting techniques, including stamping, die-cutting, embossing, and possibly some watercoloring or blending for the flowers.
Inside the card, the design continues with three small flowers die-cut from coordinating dies using Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow cardstock. For a cohesive look, the envelope flap has been embossed using the same embossing folder as the front panel of the card.
