Fun Fold Card using the Wonderful Moments Stamp Set

Good Afternoon my Stampin’ Friends

I am thrilled because my granddaughter, Felicia, is expecting a baby girl! My grandson, Tanner, who lives on the West Coast, has a toddler boy, so I’m especially excited to have a little girl to spoil!

I decided to make a card using the retired Wonderful Moments Stamp Set and the Countryside Rose Designer Series Paper for the background. This paper was a gift from Stampin’ Up! to demonstrators who “bettered their best” in April 2023. It features the same pattern as the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper.

To soften the patterned paper, I added a layer of Vellum Cardstock embossed with the Layering Florals 3D Embossing Folder. The dress was paper pieced using a different pattern from the Countryside Rose Designer Series Paper.

To prop up the top layer of the card, I die-cut small flowers using the Lifetime of Love Dies. The circle, also from the same set of dies, was cut from Pretty in Pink cardstock. The “congratulations” sentiment is from the Charming Sentiments Bundle.

The sentiment comes from the Wonderful Moments Stamp Set. To create a cohesive look, the same DSP used on the front of the card was also used for the envelope flap.
