With the Trucking Along stamp set and punch, creating a charming card becomes a breeze. This dynamic duo of crafting tools allows you to craft adorable scenes and customize your creations with ease. Whether it’s a birthday greeting or a cheerful hello, this set empowers you to add a personal touch to your cards.
This started out as a Christmas card but then the Willie Nelson song “On the Road Again” came on and I got the idea to use it as a sentiment! I created the words in Canva and then printed it off on cardstock with my printer.
For the background, I used a cloud template I’ve had for a long time and brushed the top part of the front panel with a Blending Brush and Balmy Balue Ink. I then added the trees with the leaves in Garden Green and the trunks in Early Espresso. I filled in the solid area in the trees with the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker. I drew some lines under the truck to ground it using the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker. The truck image was first stamped with Tuxedo Black for the lined image and then with Poppy Parade for the solid image. The tires with inked with Tuxedo Black.
The front panel was layered with Poppy Parade Cardstock. The next layer is a sheet from the Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP). The base card is Basic White Thick Cardstock.
For the envelope, since I did have any matching pattern paper left, I used another pattern from the same DSP.
