Good Afternoon Crafters!
Today’s card features the retired Paradise Palms Stamp Set. It was available for a time on the “Last Chance List” but all sets have sold out. This is one bundle (stamp set and dies) that I will keep for a while at least. I love making the California beachy type of cards.
We were on a cruise recently and I saw this cap in one of the boutiques and immediately thought of my daughter, Deena. She owns a small boutique called “Hey Beautiful” and loves to wear hats/caps. Oh, and she loves wine!
For the sky, I blended the following colors with a Blending Brush and Petal Pink, Blushing Bride and Fresh Freesia (top of front panel). For the bottom, I used Pumpkin Pie and Petal Pink.
The palm trees and landscaping were stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink several times using the Stamparatus. So sorry that we no longer carry this tool because I use it a lot. The sentiment was also stamped with Tuxedo Black.
Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit. If you enjoyed my project for today, please be sure to visit my Card Gallery for lots of ideas and inspiration. Have a great day!
