I’m using the Stylish Sketches Stamp Set for today’s project. You can get this free during Sale-a-bration (August-Dec 2022) with a qualifying order. These artistic stamp images look great as outlines, but you could also try coloring them with Stampin’ Blends for a more dramatic look.
Well, I’ve had an exciting (certainly not boring) couple of weeks since I last posted. On Wednesday, 5 July, I went in for a one day procedure. I was expected to go home after a couple of hours. That didn’t happened because while I was in recovery, the nurse gave me too much pain medication. When they were not able to wake me up, they gave me Norcan. I spent five days in the Cardiac unit recovering from that episode. I was release on 10 July and two weeks later, I finally feel normal and it’s the 1st time I’ve had any desire to make a card.
I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black on Basic White Cardstock. Then I colored it in with the Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends Combo. The grass was colored with the the Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Combo and the background sponged using our Blending Brushes and Balmy Blue Ink.
I used the beautiful bold Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper for the background.
The sentiment is from the On the Horizons Stamp Set and was stamped with Cajun Craze Ink on Basic White Cardstock.
I added a strip of Rustic Harvest DSP to the inside of the card. Before adhering to the inside, I used the zig-zag die from the Border Dies to give it a little interested. I also die cut the envelope flap to match the inside of the card.
