Daffodils come in so many colors and for today’s card, I decided to color in my daffodil using the Pink or Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Marker! The image is from the Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set which is retiring next month. I hate to see this set go but Stampin’ Up! has to make room for so many new gorgeous floral stamp set. The images and phrases in this set are perfect for spring and Mother’s Day projects or by using other stamps, you can create birthday cards or cards for other special occasions.
The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink onto the Basic White Thick Cardstock and colored in using the Flirty Flamingo for the flower and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends for the leaves.
The Basic White Cardstock Panel was stamped with the sprinkle stamp from the Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set and then embossed with the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder.
The sentiment was computer generated. Using word, I first created a black box and then typed in the words using the color white. I then used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to die cut the sentiment. Note: Be care with the washi tape when feeding the sentiment through the die cut machine. If you get any of the tape on the black part, it will strip off some of the color.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great 🐪 day!
