Today’s card features the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set; it is such a soft set with the most beautiful images. I used two different techniques with this card; (1) ombre style and (2) paper piecing. Also, instead of a regular card, I created a fancy fold card.
Card Measurements and Instructions:
- Base Card: Misty Moonlight Cardstock (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. Score and cut according to template (see below).
- Front Panel: Basic White Cardstock (3 1/8″ x 2 3/4″).
- Stamp image with Black Tuxedo Ink
- Using a brayer, roll Pool Party Ink starting the bottom and continue to about 3/4 of the way up the cardstock. Do this several times until you get the desired effect. Note: Always start off the cardstock (just to the right) for a smoother finish.
- Stamp another image on the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper. Fussy cut with our Paper Snips and attached to image on front panel with our Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Color in the flowers with Stampin’ Blends (Daffodil Design and Polished Pink)
- Attach to front panel with liquid glue
- Add rhinestones
Designer Series Paper: 2 strips (3″ x 1 1/8″) and 1 strip (5 3/8″ x 7/8″). Attach to front of card with liquid glue.
Sentiment: Stamp greeting (from Art Gallery Stamp Set) with Misty Moonlight Ink on Basic White Thick Cardstock. Die cut using the Floral Gallery Dies.
Inside of card: Basic White Cardstock (4 3/8″ x 3 1/8″). Fussy cut a flower image from DSP and adhere to the panel with liquid glue. Attach to inside of card.
