It’s Friday and time for a Fun Fold. Starting this series has really taken me out of my comfort zone. I love making cards but decided I needed to change things up a bit.
I think this fun fold is called a double easel fun fold technique. Anyhoo I decided to try it out!
I used the gorgeous Hydrangea Haven Designer Series Paper. On the right side of the below is the individual sheets I used for my card.
The flower image (focal point) was fussy cut using our Paper Snips. I glued it to the scallop circle (Layering Circles Dies) and then embossed it with the 3D Subtle Embossing Folder.
The doily is a Stampin’ Up! retired item but I can’t remember the name of it. The leaves (Old Olive Cardstock) were punched out using the The Leaf Punch. The Vellum leaves were die cut from one of the dies from the Forever Flourishing Dies. The DSP sprigs were punched out using the Sprig Punch. I also used the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon but it somehow disappeared under the leaves (haha).
The inside panel was stamped with the So Sentiment Stamp Set.
Please Note: The beautiful Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper will be retiring on 3 May 2021 or while supplies last. Not sure about the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set. You may want to pick up this gorgeous DSP before it sells out!
