Brilliant Wings

By | March 3, 2021

Today’s card is for my cousin who lost her son to COVID-19. I saw this card on Pinterest and loved it! It’s by Tammy Wilson. It’s not exact copy – I did change things up a little.

The butterfly die cut is from the Brilliant Wings Dies which is part of the Butterfly Brilliance Collection. I then ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the 3D Script Embossing Folder.

After die cutting the butterfly, I applied Clear Wink of Stella to make it sparkle though you can’t see it in the photo.

For the front panel, I applied Petal Pink Ink with one of our Water Painters for a color wash effect. I then die cut the panel with one of the dies from the Ornate Layers Dies and then embossed it with the 3D Subtle Embossing Folder. The layer next to the base card was embossed with one of the other dies from the Ornate Layers Dies.

I used 3 Ribbons to make the bow (White Baker’s Twine, Petal Pink Metallic Ribbon and Gold Cording. Left the ends long to drape our the card.

The sentiment was computer generated.

Thanks for stopping by today.
