InKing Royalty December Blog Hop

By | December 16, 2020

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month’s projects celebrate New Year’s Day, a special day to start anew and prepare for the coming year. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

For this month’s blog shop, I decided to use the Flowers for Every Season 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper as the main focal point on my card. We were to create a card that said “Happy New Year“. So I opted to go outside the box and use flowers as a background instead of the usual stars or celebration type of DSP.

Card Measurements:

  • Base card (Misty Moonlight Cardstock) 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, fold in half
  • Next Layer (Cinnamon Cider Cardstock) 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  • Pattern Paper (Flowers for Every Season DSP) 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • Pattern Paper (Flowers for Every Season DSP) 6″ x 3″ for numbers
  • Greeting (Whisper White Cardstock) 4″ x 1″

We don’t have a stamp set that expressed how I want 2021 to be for everyone so I computer generated a greeting.

It’s a very simple card so I’m not including any directions on how to make it. But if you have any questions about this card, please feel free to contact me at rachelbrumley@cox.net or (479) 644-3318.

And last but certainly not least! I’d like to include a special card for a special someone.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Renae Novak at Blessed by Cards. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

I love how you’ve positioned the numbers and sentiment over this beautiful floral paper. So festive and fun! Thanks for the birthday wishes, Rachel! I love that card, too. So sweet.
