WRAP – Scallop Envelope Gift Box

Simple gifts can be made extra special when beautifully wrapped. This box is made using the Scallop Envelope Die and the Big Shot. This die is easily adapted to make more than just envelopes! This box is perfect for home baked treats complimented by our cellophane bags. Our cellophane bags come in 3 sizes (small, medium and large) and fit the box perfectly for the finishing touch!

Directions
1. Cut 4 Scallop Envelopes in Soft Suede Cardstock.
2. Fold each die cut envelope on score lines as if making the envelope, except do not fold the top scalloped envelope flap score line.
3. Adhere Sticky Strip onto envelope tabs as indicated in the picture.
4. Remove Sticky Strip red liner on all pieces.
5. Starting with the envelope on your right (see picture), adhere to the next envelope. Have one flap on the outside of the box and one flap adhered on the inside of box. Adhere as shown and repeat for each envelope until box shape is formed.
6. Turn box upside down and apply Sticky Strip to the two outside flaps, as shown in the picture. Peel off red liner from Sticky Strip and gently fold down flaps to form base of box.
7. To increase the box’s stability, cut a 3 2/8” x 3 2/8” square of medium weight cardboard. I use the white backing that comes in the 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper packs! Place inside box.
8. Cut a 2 ¼” x 12” piece of Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper. Score paper at 1 ½ ”, 4 ¼”, 7 ½ and 10 ¼ . Fold score lines, apply adhesive and adhere to box. There will be an uncovered space on one side of the box.
9. Cut a 3 ¼ x 2 ¼ piece of coordinating Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper and attach to box side to fill in the space.
10. Cut 3- 1” strips of metallic gold Waffle Paper. Adhere Sticky Strip around the box where the patterned paper meets the scalloped envelope flap. Adhere the waffle paper strips to the Sticky Strip, pleating the waffle paper as you go.
11. Stamp the ornament from Tags til Christmas in Versamark and emboss with gold emboss powder. Punch out with ornament punch. Adhere to box front with Stampin’ dimensionals. Place bow on ornament with a glue dot. Decorate front of ornament with pearls.
