Today’s post features the Climbing Roses Stamp Set. This is the 2nd time I’ve made a sympathy card in as many weeks. This one is for the wife of my husband’s best friend.
The flower image was colored in using the Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Write Marker and the leaves colored in using Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker.
The background was created using the retired Pattern Party Decorative Masks. I sponged it with Old Olive Ink Pad and, in some cases, I stamped off before sponging on the stencil to give it a distress look. The circle I drew with the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker using one of the dies from the Layering Circles Dies. The greeting is from a Non-SU stamp set.
