This card is for my husband, David who when he comes back from his trip would have been gone 3 weeks! I’m using The Bright Side Stamp Set from the new Inspiration Book & Catalog for 2018/2-19.
I got the lines in the card by running the bottom half of the Whip Cream Card Stock through the die cut machine using the Barn Wall Embossing Folder. It looks like waves right? I added Sparkle Silk to the Catalina Splash Liquid Color to give the ocean a little glimmer.
When we lived in California 25 years ago, we were avid sailors and loved to sail between the Channel Islands and Oxnard Harbor.
I used the Everyday Script Stamp Set for the greeting. After putting the card together, I used the Beach Ball Silk on the front of the card.
