Simple-Pleasures copy

After my brayer class (with Michelle Zindorf of Freedom in Creating) on Friday, I had to go to the new Michael's in Fort Smith, AR.  It was huge!  I found pattern paper by K&Company that was absolutely beautiful called Brenda Walton Designer Paper (8.5 x 8.5 pad).  All the paper in this pad is vintage looking and did I say beautiful???

The stamp is by Impression Obsession and is called Simple Pleasures.  I stamped the image on very vanilla card stock with brown staz-on.  I colored it in using classic ink and a blender pen.  I then softly sponged around the edges to give it that vintage look.

Recipe:

  • Stamp:  Simple Pleasures by Impression Obsession
  • Paper:  Very Vanilla, Rose Red, Pattern Paper by K&Company
  • Ink:  Brown Staz-on, Rose Red, Old Olive, Creamy Caramel
  • Accessories:  Blender Pen, Rich Regal Brads, Rose Grosgrain Ribbon, Prima Flowers,

Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful card! Love that dp you found! I haven’t seen that at any of the Michael’s I haunt 🙁 I love the way you colored the image, it really makes the flowers and butterfly pop!
