Today’s card features the Summer Rose Stamp Set. I included a small strip of our gorgeous retired Spring Filled Prints from the retirement list. Sadly, it’s sold out. 🙁
The rose image consisted of 3 steps. 1st one was the solid stamp image, 2nd more detailed stamp image and 3rd small middle detailed image. By stamping the 2nd stamped image several times, I was able to get a darker imprint using the Misti Tool. I wished FSJ had a similar product because I use this tool a lot!
The scalloped borders were due cut using the Border Basics Die Set. The background was embossed using a non FSJ embossing folder.
I added Bubble Gum and Sparkle silks to the front of the card to give it a little bling. I carefully cover the ribbon so I wouldn’t get any silk on it. I also left off the sentiment because I don’t know who I’m going to send it to as yet.
