These two little girls are so cute – they are from the A Kind Word Stamp Set. It's a beautiful day today and I thought a perfect day to swing under a tree. Of course, I don't have a swing now but I can dream. The kind of swing I had when I was growing up was a tire tied to a rope and that was a lot of fun! What kind of swing did you grow up with?
The image was stamped using Black Stazon on watercolor paper. The apron and hat were paper pieced with the Raspberry Tart DSP. I colored in the dress and ribbon on hat with Kiwi Kiss and the aqua painter. I added a little pink to the cheeks – I usually hesitate to do this because I think I'm going to ruin the face but it came out okay. The flowers were colored in using Rose Red and Cameo Coral.
Thanks for stopping by – I really appreciate your visits!
