Today's card includes one of the stamp sets that did not make it to the new Catalog.
I've used this stamp set a lot but this is the first time I've used the two stamping technique. I first stamped the outline image on Very Vanilla using Basic Brown. I then colored in the solid stamp with Certainly Celery, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum and Creamy Caramel Stampin' Write Markers. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to correctly align the solid stamp over the outline stamp.
The oval was cut out using the Bigz Die Frame Oval Scallop. Next I distressed the edges using the Cutter Kit. The second layer (Perfect Plum) was also distressed with the Cutter Tool.
I layered the oval image over Parisian Summer DSP which retired last year but I love it and continue to use. You know that saying "The one with the most toys wins?". Well, in my case, if you used the words "The one with the most pattern paper wins!" Yep – that's me. I've never met a pattern paper I didn't like!
Thanks for visiting and see you tomorrow!
