When I decided to become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I was full of questions! Here are some you may have. If I don't cover it in this post, please e-mail me and I will get right back to you.
What are the benefits? They will vary from demo to demo but here are a couple
- During this promotion, the 1st five people to sign up receive a free set of In-color Markers in addition to the $25.00 gift certificate
- If you sign up by 31 July, a $25.00 gift certificate from me
- 30% off your 1st order of $150 or more placed within 45 days of signing up!
- 20% off all future orders. You also earn additional income called volume rebate when your monthly sales are $400 or more.
- You can pre-order select new and exciting products and accessories at least a month in advance of your customers
- Monthly magazine called Stampin Success full of projects, business ideas and upcoming promotions. You also have access to the SU demo website which is also full of ideas.
- New friends – friendships that can last a life time. Attend conventions, regionals and meet demo's from all over the US.
- Full-time support from me. I am available to answer any and all questions or help you in anyway I can.
Do I have to hold workshops?
- You do not have to hold workshops nor sell Stampin' Up! products to anyone. Many demonstrators are hobbyists and enjoying selling to a few friends and getting their own products at cost. I myself was a hobbyist for a couple of years before deciding to take this a step further.
Are there minimums?
- Yes, the minimum is $300 per quarter or $100 per month. But when you factor in the 20% off, it comes to $80.00 per month or $240 per quarter.
Now, if you are wondering what kind of demo you would be or could be, I've put together a list of possibilities:
- I just want the kit: This is a great option for new stampers who wants lots of stamping supplies at a wonderful discount. You don't have to feel guilty if you never do another thing with it – you know a bargain when you see one!
- Discount purchaser: This is for the person who likes to get all of their supplies at cost. They may occasionally sell to interested friends and family.
- Hobbyists: This person loves to share what she knows about stamping with others but doesn't necessarily go out of her way to do it. As long as you can fit Stampin' Up! into her life conveniently, she might work a lot some months and little or not at all other months.
- Career Demonstrator: These are demonstrator who view Stampin' Up! as a viable business opportunity with long-term career potential. She works her business consistently, pursues management opportunity and strives to move up the career ladder.
As you can see, Stampin' Up! has a lot of options to offer you. Which one do you fit?
