Stampin’ has made classic butterflies even better by putting them in a Two-Step Stampin’ set. Two-step sets have a base image and overlay images that you can combine over the base image. Use the colors and images you want to create the butterflies you want.
This card was cased from the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog. The stamp set is called Watercolor Wings.
The background was made using a Sponge Dauber and Pool Party Classic Ink Pad. I just randomly stamped a couple of times in the upper left side and lower right side.
The smaller background was made using the retired Dots & Stripes Decorative Mask. I lightly sponged with a Sponge Dauber and Blushing Bride Classic Ink Pad.
The body of the butterfly was colored in using the Delightful Dijon Stampin’ Write Marker. I also lightly ran the marker along the edges of the butterfly wings.
