Did you know Gorgeous Grunge is retiring. I can’t believe they would retire such a versatile stamp set! I’m keeping this one even though it is retired because the backgrounds are so interesting.
I decided to pair it with the new Happy Birthday Thinlits Dies – isn’t the die gorgeous? I love the font! I’m so glad they are offering this die in the new catalog.
I used Basic Black Card Stock for the greeting because it stands out so much more than the Basic Gray I used in my first attempt to make this card. Not enough contrast in using the Basic Gray Card Stock. I also reverse the colors with the light colors in the middle instead at the ends.
The new order was Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, Pink Powder, Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide. Don’t you just love those names?
Tip: I use the Tear & Tape Adhesive for any die cut letters. It keeps me from having to add liquid glue to the back. As you can see from the 2nd picture that there’s adhesive tape at the top, middle and bottom of die cut and I think that’s enough adhesive.
We do have adhesive sheets in the new catalog which will be perfect for dies like this! WHOOHOO!
