When adding a button to a card, I always secure it to the card by punching a hole, feeding the thread through it and then taping it on the back side with scotch tape.

The bird was colored in using Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Pool Party Stampin’ Write Markers. The leaves and branch were colored in using the Pear Pizzazz and Crumb Cake Classic Inks.
To get the background on the Vellum Card Stock top of card, I stamped with flourishing image from Timeless Textures Stamp Set with Pool Party Classic Ink, added Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set with the Heat Tool.
