Merry Moments Ornament Money Holder

I've made a couple of gift holders for my grandchildren.  I've made two and need four more to go.  I saw the cutest ornament money holders on Lisa Eisner's (Princess Lisa) blog.  Lisa got the idea from Carolina Buchting (Carolina's Creative Pad).  Carolina has a video tutorial on her blog on how to make this cute money holder.

I need to make six of these and I thought that the brown would be for the boys (I have 3 grandsons) and the red would be for the girls (3 granddaughters).

  I added their name instead of a sentiment like Merry Christmas because I thought that maybe they would want to put the ornaments up on the Christmas tree after they've taken their money from it. 

Both Lisa and Carol have beautiful bows on their ornaments but I went with the flat bow because the ornaments need to go into the mail all the way to California and I didn't think the bows would retain their shape. 

You can't see it but there is a little pocket in the front where you insert the money.  Can you believe I don't have a dollar laying around to insert as a sample?  I usually use my debit card for everything so I rarely carry money with me!

 It's late so I'll be posting the card directions tomorrow.  I had my granddaughter today with me and she is 3 1/2 and full of energy.

And now I leave you with a picture of my granddaughter.  She is a cutie!  (if I do say so myself!) (LOL)

The furry cap is a Santa Clause cap which she wore while she help me put up the Christmas tree.  At that age they are so helpful!
