Beary Best Friends

Good Morning Stampers

Today's card is for my granddaughter Rachel.  I just received the stamp set "Beary Best Friends" and decided to use it for her Valentine's card.   

The teddy bears in this stamp set are so cute!  Don't know why I waited so long to buy this set.  The teddy bear was stamped on Very Vanilla card stock using Basic Brown.  

 I colored her face, arms and legs with an Aqua painter and Close to Cocoa Classic Ink.  Her cheeks were colored in using Pretty in Pink.  I added a little bling to the flower in her hair.  To do this, I mixed a little glitter & glue with Pretty in Pink Reinker and then spread it on with a toothpick.
 

Her dress is paper pieced from the same DSP but a different pattern.

I ran a scrap piece of Pretty in Pink card stock through the Big Shot using the Finial Press Embossing Folder.  The heart was punched out using the Heart to Heart punch.

The sentiment is from the "Love Bandits" Stamp Set (another cute and favorite of mine).  I added a couple of small rhinestones because you can't have too much bling on a granddaughter's card – right???
