Good Morning Stampers

Opener

I was going through my old stash of paper looking for stuff to send to Sherrill Graff.  She does some amazing things with the kids from Ronald McDonald House and I was glad to be able to provide some paper that the kids could work with.  I came across paper called Ruby Tuesday by Basic Grey.   I decided to use it for today's card even though I stopped using non SU products about six months ago.  I really fell in love with this paper when it first came out and bought alot and I mean "alot" of this paper.  So, I thought what the heck, I will use it it for today!

Pearls I was inspired by a card on stampin'addicts.com.  As you can see, the pattern paper matches perfectly with our Ruby Red card stock.  As in the inspiration, I used the Asian Artistry Stamp Set (Hostess Level 2).

I stamped the image on watercolor paper with the  Basic Black Classic Ink (did you know it was Flower waterproof?) and colored the flower in with Ruby Red Classic Ink and the leaves with Old Olive.

I used the Circle Scissor Plus to cut out the circle for the main image.  It was then put through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder.  The Ruby Red layer was fed through the Big Shot using the Scallop Circle Bigz Die.

Sprinkles

I first spritzed main image with the Color Spritzer Tool and the Ruby Red Stampin' Write Marker to give it an airbrush effect but I wanted a heavier application so I used Itty Bitty Background.  I like that effect so much more.

Ribbon

I took our Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon (so gorgeous!) and dyed it with the Ruby Red Classic reinker and a sponge dauber.  It turned a rich vibrant color (so much more gorgeous!).

Sentiment Finished off with a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes using Ruby Red Classic ink.  Punched out with the Window Word Punch and layered with Ruby Red card stock punched out with the Modern Label punch.
