Soft Summer

Good Morning Stampers

Since this card is for my favorite relative's birthday coming up next month, I decided to use one of my all time favorites stamp sets called Soft Summer.  It was in the summer mini catalog last year but I don't know if it's retired or not.  If someone knows, would you please let me know?  Though it really doesn't matter because this is one I will hang onto as long as I am stamping. 

The main image was first stamped on Whisper White card stock with Basic Black Classic In.  I then inked up the solid stamp with a blender pen and Baja Breeze Classic Ink and Kiwi Kiss Classic Ink.  They are both retired. 

The the Circle Die Cut I used was a clear die cut, I was able to stamp the image before cutting it out.

The 2nd layer is Baja Breeze card stock.  I used the Scallop Circle Die and then place the dots on each scallop with the White Gel Pen.

The pattern paper is Parisian Breeze Designer Series Paper which is also retired. 

I used Whisper White Satin Ribbon to add a touch of elegance and dyed it using the Baja Breeze Reinker.  I didn't have the patience to wait for it to air dry so I used the Heat Gun on it and it dried in about 5 minutes.

The decorative Scallop Trim Punch was used on Kraft card stock for a dainty look.

I loved the way it turned out and I'll have to force myself to send it off in the mail (LOL).  Don't you sometimes feel like that?  That you like a card so much that you don't want to let it go.
