Good Morning Stampers
Dot is one of my best customers and such a sweetheart. Dot is celebrating her 85th birthday this Friday and her daughter Patty decided to buy some stamps for her birthday. Since Patty lives in Wisconsin and Dot lives in Arkansas, I decided to wrap the gift and make a card and give it to Dot for Patty. Even though it's Dot's birthday on Friday, I decided to give her the gift a little early at class today.
I used Flower Fancy for the card and used the colors Pretty in Pink and Old Olive on Whisper White card stock..
This is the inside of the card
And this is the gift bag I decorated
This was a lot of fun and I enjoyed making the card and gift to match. Patty was very grateful (I think!) and surprised me with the most delicious dessert I've ever had. It was Kringle (a danish pastry) from Wisconsin! Needless to say, I've gained about 5 pounds since it arrived (my husband does not eat sweets). I know I didn't have to eat it all at once but it was sooooooo goooood!!!!
I can do the same for you if there is someone you would like to present with a gift of stamping and stamping accessories. The wrapping and card is free with any purchase. And please, no more Kringle! A simple thank you will be enough (LOL).

Rachel,
what a great gift bag and card……..the colors are to die for (I am a big fan of anything pink) I may have to try stamping on a white gift bag for the next b-day present that I need to give. Thanks for sharing the idea.
Neat idea. One of the girls I work with is getting married this summer and her favorite color is pink. Everything on her desk is pink and of course, her wedding colors are pink.. You’ve given me a great idea for her gift.
