Totally Tess | Stamp with Rachel

Good Morning Stampers:

Today's card is for my daughter Stephanie for Mother's Day. I have two daughters and they are complete opposites – Totally Tess is just like my younger daughter and cards that are shabby chic, vintage, flowerly are like my other daughter. I'm sure this is fairly common in all families.

Tess was stamped with Basic Brown on Whisper White card stock. I colored her using Chocoate Chip (for her hair), Rose Red (for her blouse and lips), Blush Blossom (for her face & hands) and Tempting Turquoise (for her pants) Stampin' Write Markers. Thank goodness the Blush Blossom Stampin' Write Marker is staying because that's the one I use for faces.
The next layer is Rose Red card stock which had one side punched out using the Scallop Border Punch.
The ribbon used is Turquoise 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon. The sentiment is from Messages for Mom and was punched out on the ends with the corner rounder. This was attached using Stampin' Dimensions
The DSP is from the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Pack. Did you know that it is already sold out? I'm glad I ordered mine when I did because this is paper is so versatile – you can use it for anything!
The box is from the Pillow Box Bigz Dies. Instead of measuring and then cutting out the pattern paper for the front of the box, I just ran a piece of pattern paper through the Big Shot using the Pillow Box Die. I knew exactly where to cut by following the crease lines.
The tiny tags is from the Occasions Mini Catalog and is called (of course!), Tiny Tags. The punch is also from the Occasions Mini catalog – it's called Medium Jewelry Tag Punch.
