Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

 Because today is Mother's Day, I felt nostalgic and I pulled out this stamp set because it reminds me of my youngest daughter when she was about 5 or 6.   Where does the time go?

This is the inside of the card.  Most of the time I leave the sentiment off because I want to be able to just grab a card quickly and either stamp the sentiment or write it in at the last minute.

 Aren't these kittens adorable?  My daughter has always loved cats and has had several over the years.  Her latest one is called Sadie.

1. I stamped the images with Basic Black on Whisper White Card Stock.
2. The little girl was colored in using the Blush Blossom Stampin' Write Maker for her face and hands. Her cheeks were colored in using the Pretty in Pink Stampin' Write Marker.
3. Her hair is So Saffron and her dress was colored in using the Regal Rose Stampin' Write Marker.
4. The apron was colored in using an aqua painter and Rose Red Classic Ink.
5. The flowers are Regal Rose, Rose Red and Old Olive for the branches and leaves.
6. The basket and shoes were colored using Creamy Caramel Stampin' Write Marker. The cat was colored in using Going Gray as were the kittens on the inside.
7. The Ribbon is Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon and was assembled using a technique featured on Lee Conroy's blog.
8. NOTE:  In order to place the image (kittens in hat) in the right place, I closed the card and stamped it right in the punched circle. I was lucky that the small image fit perfectly in the circle.
