I can’t believe that after 11 years with Stampin’ Up!, I’m still amazed and excited about our new products. In this case, I love the Beautiful Ride Photopolymer Stamp Set from the new catalog. It is sooooo cute and it reminds me of my beetle when I owned one in the 1970’s. Here’s the color and what it looked like. It was an automatic because I didn’t know how to drive a stick shift.
I always wanted to paint flowers on mine but didn’t have the nerve to do it. So I decided to add flowers the the beetle in the Beautiful Ride Stamp Set.
The flowers on the car were 1st stamped with the Basic Black Archival Ink and then colored in using the following Stampin’ Write Markers: Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaroon, Watermelon Water, Tempting Turquoise, and Pumpkin Pie.
The running board and tires were colored in using a blender pen and the Smoky Slate Classic ink. The DSP is the bright beautiful
