October 2015 Thank You Cards

By | November 9, 2015

Can you believe I had the Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper since I first was able to order from the Holiday Catalog?  I didn’t even realize I had it until I was looking for something else and found it!  And it’s gorgeous  paper  – it was hand-watercolored by one of Stamin’ Up!’s awesome artists.  You’ll love this one-of-a-kind paper that has the soft look of watercolor.

I decided to use it for the October 2015 online orders cards.

Oct-2015-TU
Tip1Before I go into today’s cards, I don’t know if I have mentioned this or not but I always use the Stampin’ Pierce Mat when stamping with photopolymer stamps.

It gives you even pressure and ink coverage.  I may have to buy another one because I also use it for paper piercing and now it has all those little holes in it.  I know that they recommend buying two – one for stampin’ and one for paper piercing.

I used Night of Navy Card stock and Ink for this card.  I added Rhinestones to give it a little bling!

Oct-2015-TU1
Pear Pizzazz Card Stock and Ink was used for this card.  I also cut out 3 Christmas lights and added them next to the greeting.

Oct-2015-TU2
Love the trees on this one.  I used the Lots of Labels Framelits and lightly stamped the snowflakes from the Wonderland Stamp Set with Soft Sky Classic ink.  The base card is Mossy Meadow Card Stock.

Oct-2015-TU4
For this card, I added the Silver Foil Sheets and Rhinestones to give it a little bling.  I also stamped the snowflakes from the Wonderland stamp Set.  The base card is Soft Sky Card Stock.  I like this design from the Season of Cheer DSP – it would be perfect for a baby boy’s card.

Oct-2015-TU3
As you can see, the poinsettias on this DSP are gorgeous!  I colored the Rhinestones with the retired Cherry Cobbler Assorted Blendabilities.  No, I didn’t turn mine in – I still use and love them!  Hope they bring them  back soon.
