Vintage Leaves in Old Olive & Gold

By | October 15, 2015

My Christmas came early this year!  Look at what I just purchased!

It’s a Brother’s Scan N Cut!  I have been wanting one for a while now and finally broke down and bought one.  I used it to cut out the sentiment, Thankful,  from the Six Sayings Stamp Set.

Thankful

Today’s card using the Vintage Leaves Stamp Set and the Leaflets Framelits Dies.  You can buy it separately or you can buy it in a bundle and save 15%.

I saw a card on Pinterest or facebook (can’t remember) and knew immediately that I would be making one like it.  I changed up several things in the card but it does look similar.    Thanks to Gail (couldn’t read her last name) for the inspiration!

The leavers were stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Very Vanilla Card Stock.  I then sponged them with Old Olive Classic Ink before cutting them out using the Leaflets Framelits Dies.

Using the retired Color Spritzer Tool and the Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker, I lightly spritzed the lower right and upper left part of the card.  I didn’t want a lot of white space around the leaves.  I also stamped off the leaf image once before stamping on the Very Vanilla Card Stock using Old Olive Classic ink.
