Hi Stampers
Today is Business Women's Day. September 22 marks the 1949 founding date of the American Business Women's Association, the mission of which is "to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership; education, networking support and national recognition.
At this point, you are asking "what does this have to do with stamping?" Everything! I started stamping because I was looking for a creative outlet. I was a hobby demonstrator for about two years and then decided to take it to the next level. I've been fairly successful in the last couple of years and consider myself a businesswoman who owns a paper-craft business.
One of my favorite things about being a businesswoman with Stampin' Up! is the people you meet and network with at all levels. From my customers, to my down-line, to other demonstrators, to the Stampin' Up! Staff, you interface with – they are the nicest, friendliest people in the world.
The next favorite thing about being a businesswoman is you determine how successful you want to be. You can be a hobby demo or a successful demo with a down-line of 500 people! It's all up to you.
Other reasons I love being a businesswoman with Stampin' Up!
- Additional Income (I love the extra money!)
- Discount on purchases (what the heck, I spend it on stamps, might as well get a discount!)
- Recognition: Love the bonuses from SU
- Networking: Regionals, leadership and convention are so much fun but they are also full of business tips and techniques.
Join my team and find out how much fun it is to love what you do! Contact me at rachelbrumley@cox.net or (479) 876-7453.
