Don’t Forget!
Hello my Crafty Friends!
Since I already had the Rustic Centerpiece Stamp Set out, I decided to make another card using the sunflower image. Once again, I left the sentiment off because I have so many occasions to cover—Happy Birthday, Thinking of You, Thank You—so I’ll wait until I’m ready to send it and then add the appropriate greeting.

What a cheerful card this turned out to be! I really love how the sunflowers just pop against that cream-colored background. The whole rustic farmhouse vibe is exactly what I was going for—those bright yellow blooms in the mason jar sitting on that wood slice, with the red apples adding a nice touch of contrast. It feels warm and homey without being too fussy.

I had fun playing with the Deckled Rectangle Dies using the Real Red cardstock. I placed the pieces asymmetrically behind the main image panel, and I think it adds such a nice visual interest without overwhelming the focal point. The patterned background paper, from the Gathering Together Designer Series Paper (DSP), with the subtle leaf design, from the Gathering Leaves 3D Embossing Folder, ties everything together nicely, and that red border just frames it all perfectly.

The dimensional elements really make the card special—I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the main panel, and there’s a tiny butterfly accent, from the Brushed Brass Butterfly, near the flowers that catches the light. A small piece of Basic Beige Ribbon peeks out from the right side of the front panel. Since I left the sentiment off, I can use this for so many different occasions. Whether it ends up being a birthday card, a thank you, or just a thinking-of-you note, those happy sunflowers will work perfectly!

For the inside of the card, I die-cut the first layer with the largest Deckled Rectangle die. To keep things cohesive, I added a strip of the Gathering Together Designer Series Paper inside and carried that same paper over to the envelope flap for a finished look.
